Donna Corson: Eugene, OR

Distribution and Publisher Relations

Donna Corson, founder of TDN, has over 20 years of experience in the computer industry. Prior to founding TDN in 1988, she owned and operated several retail computer stores in California and Washington. Donna has a solid foundation of sales and marketing, as well as extensive personal contacts in the industry. Ms. Corson has consulted with numerous corporations including Security Pacific Bank, the J. Paul Getty Center and the Veterans Administration.

TDN has sold over 10,000,000 units in the channel and has successfully launched first-to-market technologies including voice recognition, text-to-speech, Internet telephony, business planning and much more! Donna graduated from Eastern Washington University with B.S. degrees in Speech Pathology and Audiology, with an emphasis on Speech Communications. Her graduate studies at the University of Utah emphasized Human Relations and Communications.

Meshelle Lee: Eugene, OR

Sales & Marketing Manager

Meshelle joins TDN after working for Lamar Advertising as their Senior Prepress Technologist for two years.   As TDN’s Sales & Marketing Manager, Meshelle manages all sales and marketing activities, and acts as the conduit of information between our manufacturers, distributors and our channel partners. Meshelle also maintains supports the TDN National Account Managers and logistical areas of the retail channel. 

  • Established new production and policy procedures for the Transit division of Lamar Advertising.
  • Managed and oversaw the Pre-press Team and the production of over 20,000 advertisements in two years.
  • Managed and supported a sales team of 300 Associates.

Meshelle graduated from Linn-Benton Community College with a degree in Digital Imaging & Prepress Technology, as well as a degree in General Studies – Technology Option.

Jessica Poole: Eugene, OR

Vendor Services Coordinator

Jessica comes to TDN after two years as the Student Program Assistant for the National Pesticide Information Center (NPIC), a cooperative program between the EPA and Oregon State University. While employed at NPIC, Jessica worked on numerous outreach programs, created and rewrote multiple standard operation procedures for students, and trained incoming student assistants.  As the Vendor Services Coordinator for TDN, Jessica performs outreach to potential new vendors, organizes product launches to buyers and writes a variety of material used at TDN, including website vendor information and launch letters.

Jessica graduated from Oregon State University with a B.S. in Business Administration, focusing on Marketing with a minor in Writing.

Tammy Hallock: Eugene, OR

Product Manager

Tammy has been dedicated to TDN for over 10 years. She joined TDN after working for Learning Services as Marketing Communications Strategist for two years.  As TDN’s Product Manager, Tammy handles all product set-up, product merchandising at distribution, and weekly/monthly reporting.   

  • Established TDN's Educational Markets Division, and expanded TDN's account base of educational distributors, resellers, and universities.
  • Developed new marketing strategies for Learning Services, and managed the production and distribution of 1.2 million catalogs a year.

Michael Yanez: West Hills, CA

Business Development Manager

Michael is a 20 year veteran of the IT/CE industry. Having held executive positions with publishers, distributors and aggregators, Michael brings a considerable amount of experience. Michael is also a pioneer in ESD, and in the early years was a guest speaker at ESD conferences. Michael has considerable experience in the following disciplines:

Leigh joins TDN with over a decade of experience in the sales and marketing of technology products. Leigh has directed channel sales and product marketing efforts for many top selling cutting edge companies with technologies ranging from multimedia and voice recognition to handheld software and peripherals. Leigh has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Oregon.

Prior to SMP, Rick held key management positions with Accolade Inc. and CBS Publishing.

Margaret Moriarty: Chicago, IL

National Accounts Manager - Central

Margaret has over nine years of sales and marketing experience within the computer retail industry.  Throughout her career, she has held a variety of positions including Director of Sales for ROI, Regional Sales Manager in the distribution channel for Kenfil, Senior Sales Manager for Maxis, Sanctuary Woods, and Luckman Interactive.

Tom Overley: Eugene, OR

Academic Channel Manager

Tom joins TDN after 8 years of success with Symantec in Channel Management. Tom has served as the account manager for the nation's largest resellers from the Inside Manager position, and was most recently responsible for the development of the Central United Territory for the world's fourth largest software company. He has designed and directed marketing strategies that successfully penetrated the increasingly important small to medium business space and educational verticals. Responsible for new account development and expanding existing accounts within the sales channel, Tom was consistently requested to represent Symantec at community and business events throughout the United States. During his time with Symantec, the company grew its annual revenue from 250 million to over 6 billion dollars. Tom also has over a decade of directing growth and development for emerging business and has put together a long history of Charity leadership positions.

Brenda Massimo: Prescott Valley, AZ

Corporate Channel Manager

Brenda joins TDN after working for Nero as their Channel Manager handling large account resellers, VAR’s, and distributors in SLED and corporate verticals. She worked closely with all partners in building demand-driven channel programs and marketing campaigns. She held the position of Senior Product Manager for a large reseller and Director of Operations/Business Development and Marketing for a large distributor. In these roles, Brenda has worked with market leaders such as Adobe, Sony, Nuance, Corel and Leapfrog in building strategic channel partnerships and programs, and brings a wealth of knowledge from all sides of the channel to TDN.

Karen Carlson: Minneapolis, MN

National Accounts Manager

Karen has over 18 years of professional sales, new business and account management experience, including 10 years in supervisory and management positions. She has shown proven success in driving sales for computer hardware, software and peripherals at Fortune 1000 corporations across North America including Best Buy, Best Buy Canada, Costco, Fry’s, London Drug, Office Max, and more.

  • Achieved record performance and partnership levels for Trend Micro, and received the 2007 Bravo! Award, awarded to vendor-partners for outstanding performance in their merchandising category and service support areas.
  • Defined, developed, implemented and managed new strategic products and programs annually generating an incremental $7.4 million internally and $13 million in incremental revenues for retailer partners.
  • Created and managed the Creative Reflections Interactive Scrapbook Line, a new category for Best Buy ($.6 million).

Mike Romanies: Austin, TX

Alternative Markets

Mike manages all of TDN’s liquidations and closeouts, as well as online shopping channels, alternatives markets and major retailers in Australia and New Zealand through his company, Fuel Marketing. Mike brings more than 23 years of business experience to TDN.  He has led sales and marketing efforts for a number of companies, including Number Nine Visual Technologies, NetSilicon and Reed Technology, as well as represented products from Sony, Toshiba, and Honestech. He brings a wealth of information and channel knowledge to TDN in all aspects of business. Mike has worked with public and private companies ranging from start-ups and turn-around situations to divisions of multi-billion dollar multinational entities.

Mike has an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Wilkes University.
